Contact

the five-second epistemology · bespokeontology.com · intake

Most things here do not require contact.

If you want a read, click buy. The product is on the page. The price is on the page. The terms are on the Caveat Emptor page. There is no contact form to gate the transaction. There is no scoping call. There is no pre-qualification.

If you are reading this page, there are three reasons that might be legitimate.

1. YOU WANT TIER 4 OR HIGHER.

Tier 4 and above are not click-to-buy. They are sourcing engagements, embedded forward-deployed engineering, architecture dashboards, the digital twin, and strategic engagement at the quarterly cadence. These require scoping.

Scoping is not a debate. Scoping is the kitchen mapping what you have, what you need, and what the kitchen will ship in the first window. The kitchen does not require an SOW, an MSA, a kickoff meeting, or a relationship manager. Scoping happens in under an hour.

Before contacting: read the product page for the tier you want. Read the Caveat Emptor page. Read the Outsource Your Founder page. If you have read those and want to engage, the kitchen is ready.

2. YOU HAVE A PROCUREMENT BARRIER ON TIER 1–3.

Some buyers cannot expense a $2,994.99 click-to-buy product through their organization's procurement system. The kitchen knows. The workarounds are on the Outsource Your Founder page: have your advisory firm bill it back, route through a board consultant's pass-through, expense it under your law firm's research line.

If those do not work for your specific situation, contact the kitchen. The kitchen has run this loop before.

3. YOU WANT THE KITCHEN TO DO SOMETHING THE STOREFRONT DOES NOT LIST.

The catalog is the catalog. If your situation does not fit a listed product, contact the kitchen. The kitchen will tell you whether it fits a tier the storefront does not yet expose, whether the kitchen will do it as a custom engagement, or whether the kitchen will not do it at all.

The kitchen will be straight with you in under 72 hours. The kitchen will not pitch you. The kitchen will not propose. The kitchen will say yes, no, or here is the closest product.

WHAT TO SEND.

A paragraph. What you want. What tier. What authority you have to act on it. The kitchen does not need a 30-page brief. The kitchen does not need a pitch deck. The kitchen does not need a back-and-forth thread. The kitchen needs a paragraph.

If you cannot fit your situation into a paragraph, the kitchen will not engage. The inability to compress is the tell.

WHAT NOT TO SEND.

  • Pitch decks for the kitchen to evaluate your company. the kitchen is not a fund.
  • Vendor introductions. the kitchen sources its own vendors.
  • Job inquiries. the kitchen is not hiring.
  • Partnership proposals. the kitchen does not partner.
  • Cold sales pitches. the kitchen is not buying SaaS, consulting, lead generation, intent data, marketing automation, sales enablement, or "strategic introductions."
  • Requests for free reads. The reads are $2,994.99. Click buy.
  • Requests to debate a position on the Caveat Emptor page. the kitchen does not debate. Read the page. Either you agree or you do not.
  • "I would love to chat" emails. That is not a paragraph. That is the seminary's email template.
  • Requests for the kitchen to speak at your conference. the kitchen does not do conferences. (See: Outsource Your Founder, the no-meetings position.)
  • Requests for the kitchen to be interviewed by your publication. the kitchen does not give interviews.
  • Requests for the kitchen to advise your board. The kitchen is on the storefront, not on a board.

RESPONSE WINDOW.

Within 72 hours, or not at all.

If the kitchen does not respond within 72 hours, the kitchen has decided not to engage. the kitchen will not follow up with a no. The absence of a yes is the answer.

This is not rudeness. This is the cost structure. (See Caveat Emptor, the cost-structure paragraph.) the kitchen does not maintain a customer-success organization to send polite declines. the kitchen ships reads. Saying no costs as much as saying yes. the kitchen has chosen to save the cost of saying no.
